There are a whole lot more no-on-8 supporters than there are Mormons in Cali. They could have easily outpaced the Mormons funding and campaign efforts. Mormons didn't do anything any other citizen could not have done, had they been willing to open their pocketbooks and hit the streets. I would be interested to know how many registered Democrats voted for Prop 8--there must have been a lot. The point is, this is an issue that goes way beyond religious or party affiliation, and it's sad that these protesters are so desperate that they have to target Mormons. The people have spoken and no amount of hate or protesting today is going to change that.

Oh the irony of tolerance.
